This course covers Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs) and additional tests that can be used to assist officers in detecting impairment related to drugs and alcohol. The additional tests covered include the Modified Romberg Balance Test (MRB), Finger to Nose Test (FTN), and the Lack of Convergence Test (LOC). Topics covered include proper administration procedures of these tests, limitations of each test, officer considerations during administration, methods to remember scorable clues, demonstrations, and how to document each test properly.
This course is CLEET approved for Oklahoma law enforcement officers. (Catalog #21-2742) Officers will receive 1.0 hours of continuing education.
Law Enforcement Sensitive Training
This course is designed for law enforcement professionals and prosecutors. Each student who self enrolls will be reviewed. On review of the enrollment, if the student is found not to be a law enforcement professional, prosecutor, or did not receive prior approval from Extract-ED, you will be removed from the course without a refund.
